Spec, Desa Bahasa, and Borobudur


SPEC 
SPEC is located in Kaliabon Borobudur exactly in the north of Borobudur bus station. The abbreviation of SPEC, SP comes from “Simple”, E comes from “English” and C is “course”. So SPEC comes from “Simple English Course”. But now “Simple English Course” has been changed into “Simpel dan Cepat”. It is because of the license adaptation because we can not use foreign language in the name of course.

SPEC stood in 1998. The most important thing that makes SPEC different with another course is because of using method:
¨  Fast                 : Fast in mastering
¨ Simple              : Very easy and simple
¨ Economical       : The fee is relative cheap so it can be reached by all parts of community
¨ Great                : The result is very great
Because of that for everybody who wants to master of English is able to join on



DESA BAHASA

DESA BAHASA & SPEC  is located in Parakan Ngargogondo Borobudur exactly in the south east of Borobudur Temple, it’s around three kilometers. The meaning of Desa Bahasa & SPEC is International Community Village or (language village)”.
Desa bahasa & SPEC stood in 1998 but in 2007 untill 2011 torn away from English activity, Alhamdulillah in May 2011 Desa Bahasa & SPEC renascent by the new concept and a good enthusiasm (spirit). The most important thing that makes Desa Bahasa & SPEC different in the past namely:
¨        English lesson             : Fast in mastering English
¨        English for fun            : There are many programme of game in Desa Bahasa & SPEC.
¨        Home stay                 : Visitor or student of holiday programme can stay in home stay
¨       Conversation              : The most of programme is cas-cis-cus.
¨        Great                         : The result is very great
¨        Free                           : It’s free for student of seven village namely, Parakan, Kuncen, Kujon, Dukuh, Ngargosari, Wagean And Malangan.

Borobudur
Borobudur Temple was built at the beginning of 9th Century by Syailendra king. It is the greatest of all Buddhist monuments and one of the world heritages.
Borobudur, which is located in the earth of central Java province, exists on 276 meters above sea level. This temple stands up on natural hill. It is 42 meters high. This temple or monument is divided into 3 (three) parts. Each part has its own philosophy.
      The first part or the lowest part is called Kamadathu. It means the world of desire. The second part is called Rupadhatu. It tells about Lalitawistara or Rupadhatu rill. Buddha is supposed to be cosmic. Buddha is merely manifests himself as a human budha to proclaim salvation to the people. He leads people in a pilgrimage to the third part called Rupadatu. Rupadatu means the world of formlessness. Arupadatu consists of three level terraces and crowned by the main stupa. The first level is Nirvana. The second level and is called Pari Nirvana and the third level Maha Pari Nirvana
In addition, this monument has been renovated twice. The first renovation took place in 1907 until 1911. The second renovation was in 1973 until 1983. The renovation is carried out by Indonesian government and assisted by a Dutch engineer whose name is Teodorus Van Ep. Donated by UNESCO; the renovation spent $27 million dollars.
